Kym Twedt

Kym Twedt is the school librarian.

Mrs. Twedt enjoys reading, hiking, cooking and spending time with her family.  From their family cabin at Mt. Baker to traveling to new cities with her husband, her family can be found enjoying their time together.  Married to Paul for over 25 years, they have four kids, ages middle school to college.  All of them attend or have attended BCS.  Their busy household also hosts a moody cat and a friendly dog.

Kym’s favorite verse, Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord.  Plans to prosper and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future,” keeps her grounded.  “When life is spiraling out of control, or I don’t quite know what I’m doing, this verse reminds me that God has it all figured out.”

A graduate of WSU (Go Cougs), she also has a masters degree from City University.  She taught 3rd grade for 10 years before taking time off to be at home with her kids.  As a long time BCS parent and previous board member, she is a great addition to our teaching staff.
